Maleka Organics - SMC Ltd (“Maleka Organics”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau, based at the PHARMBIOTRAC Facility, Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Mbarara, Uganda. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. When you submit the enquiry form on our contact page, we receive:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your organisation, if you provide one (optional)
- The content of your message
If you contact us by phone or email instead, we receive whatever information you include in that contact. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, health information, national identification numbers, or payment details through this website.
Why we use it
We use the information above for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it. That may include answering questions about HealCof DS, discussing stock and availability, or following up on a distribution or partnership request.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list without asking you first.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and does not run third-party analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs — such as IP address, browser type and pages requested — for security and reliability purposes. If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this policy before doing so.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and any reasonable follow-up, and no longer than is necessary for our legitimate business or legal record-keeping needs. You may ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
How we protect it
Enquiries are transmitted over an encrypted connection and are accessible only to the members of our team who handle customer and distribution correspondence. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your rights
Under Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your data where we have no continuing need for it
- Object to our processing of your data
- Withdraw consent you have previously given
